Pubs etc.

The "Kasernement", as Jüterbog was often called during the German imperial era, had a lot of pubs and restaurants during its period as a German garrison town. Along with cafeterias, which provided basic meals, there were well-known restaurants such as Wilhelm Neumann's Restaurant zur deutschen Krone (3). Today it is a pizzeria on Lindenstraße. Neumann provided catering and field kitchens on important occasions, such as film shoots, parades etc.. He was a Jüterbog II original. Other well known restaurateurs included Patschke (Zur deutschen Treue) and Schulz (Zum Reichsadler). Bakeries and shops of various kinds also provided ample shopping facilities.
